Agrim Agriculture Farm

Agrim Agriculture Farm is a 3.3-hectare (65 ropanis) farm located in Thaprek, Nuwakot. The farm is owned and run by two passionate individuals Nischaya Mathema and Narayan Prasad Khatiwada. These two agriculture enthusiasts have plans to produce and supply high-quality hass avocados, dragonfruit, and limes to various sellers in the national and international markets.

The name, 'Nuwakot', is made up of two words 'nawa' and 'kort'. 'Nawa' means nine in Nepali and 'kort' means sacred religious sites at the top of the hill. The district accordingly has nine hills over which various deities are said to dwell thus overseeing and protecting Nuwakot. This has led to Nuwakot often being called the "City of Nine Hills".
